1.1 SECTION INCLUDES

A. RAS Denitrification Tank Mixers: 1. M-3-8-1.

3. M-3-8-3.
4. M-3-8-4.

1.2 SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

A. The mixers will be used to mix the contents of the RAS Denitrification Tank zones, as shown on the Drawings (Group 32).

1.3 DESIGN REQUIREMENT

A. General Requirements:
1. Zone Dimensions:
a. Length, ft: 40.
b. Width, ft: 37.75.
c. Side wall height, ft: 19.0.
d. Side water depth, ft: 16.5.
e. Volume, gal: 186, 400.
2. Basin contents: Return Activated Sludge.
3. Solids concentration: 0.75 – 1.25%.
4. Mixer Horsepower: 3.5 HP.
5. Propeller Speed, rpm: 122.
6. Prop diameter, inches: 47.25.

B. Performance Requirements:
1. Maintain uniformly mixed tank contents during operation.
