SECTION 13323 HMI SYSTEMS
PART 1 GENERAL
1.1 DESCRIPTION
A. This specification covers the technical requirements for the Human Machine Interface (HMI) Systems as described in the Specifications and as shown on the Drawings.
B. This specification applies to the HMI systems mounted on the front of Local Control Panels LCPs, RTUs, and other enclosures as shown on the P&IDs and as required by the specifications.
1.2 SUBMITTALS
A. Submittals shall be as specified in the following specification sections:

PART 2 PRODUCTS
2.1 HMI SYTEMS FOR LOCAL CONTROL PANELS
A. Unit shall be capable of displaying process variables, fault messages, and provide process control using touchscreen programmed keys.
B. A built-in interface port shall allow connection of a printer for printing hard copy and message printouts. Furnishing of the printer itself is not required under this contract.
C. Ethernet and RS-232 communications ports.
D. Built in 3 USB ports and SD card slot.
E. Color Graphic TouchScreen Type.
F. HMI to have a minimum of 512 MB RAM and 512MB nonvolatile of memory.
G. Windows CE 6.0 with extended features or newer operating system.
H. Battery backed real time clock.
I. All control and operator interface shall be via touch screen technology.
J. Units shall be color with a minimum screen size of 10.4 inches.
K. Display programming shall be via Microsoft Windows based software. All Operator interface terminals shall be programmed with the same software package.
L. Operator Interface Manufacturer: Allen-Bradley, PanelView Plus 6 1000.
2.2 CONFIGURATION SOFTWARE
A. Provide one licensed copies of HMI programming software packages. FactoryTalk View Machine Edition, version 6.0 or later and FactoryTalk ViewPoint, version 1.2 or later.
B. Provide license, manuals, programming cable(s) and program CD(s) in a three ring binder with each software copy.
C. Software copies to be turned over to owner at time of control panels factory tests.
